Easy & Healthy Cheap Dessert Recipes

I have a serious sweet tooth and am always looking for easy and healthy cheap dessert recipes.

It’s easy to find healthy ideas but they tend to use more expensive ingredients. And it’s easy to find cheap options that use less than ideal ingredients.

So I’ve tried a few and am sharing some of my favorite cheap dessert ideas that are also healthy and easy to make.

Some of these are no bake desserts and others are more traditional.

This first 2 are my recipes and the rest are others I have found from other blogs.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs

Total Time 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut or nut butter⁣
  • 1.5 tbsp coconut flour⁣
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup⁣
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil + 1 tsp for melting chocolate⁣
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract⁣
  • 1 dark chocolate bar⁣
  • Sea salt

Instructions

    1. Mix peanut butter, maple syrup, 1 tbsp coconut oil, coconut flour, vanilla extract in bowl⁣

    2. Form into eggs, store in fridge for 10 minutes⁣

    3. Melt chocolate bar with 1 tsp coconut oil⁣

    4. Dip eggs in melted chocolate, store in fridge to let chocolate harden⁣

    5. Drizzle extra chocolate on top⁣

    6. Sprinkle Pacific Resources sea salt over the top⁣ 😋

    7. Store in fridge or freezer⁣⁣

Chocolate Dipped Apricot

Chocolate Dipped Apricot
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 bar of dark chocolate
  • 1 pack of dried apricots
  • sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
  2. Dip half of the dried apricots into the melted chocolate and place on a rack of cookie sheet to harden.
  3. Sprinkle sea salt over the pieces before it has dried.
